Monty Python alumnus.
Monty Python star Terry Jones dies aged 77
Huge bummer... such a funny man, so sad to hear he has passed.
Damn. Big talent lost. RIP Terry.
Such a great career! RIP
The worlds a little duller today.
better hope and pray that there is intelligence up above because there's bugger all down here on earth.
Outrageous sketches: The Musical Mice. Crunchy Frog. Spot the Brain Cell as Mrs. Scum. Brian's Mum. Gluttony - Mr Creosote. Directed Meaning of Life, Life of Brian and co-directed the Holy Grail,... on and on and on. I'd say R.I.P. , but I guessing he doesn't want to.
Well that sucks, I had heard something about his dementia, but still sad.
I'm sure somewhere at some point though the remaining Pythons may update the 1 down 5 to Go (which was an alternate title of a stage show) to 2 down 4 to Go, as they can have morbid sense of humour at times.
Lots of funny moments.
they all played women in distinct ways--but something about Terry Jones' style that way--and mixed with Graham Chapman's screechy voiced woman it helps make this scene:
Stumbled onto this today. Much to my surprise, the credits at the end indicate the organizer of the event was the late Dr. Rob Buckman ( Rob Buckman - Wikipedia ). Not only an oncologist, Buckman worked as a comedy writer on a number of British shows, before moving into medicine, moving to Canada, and eventually becoming somewhat of a fixture on TVO in Ontario. He also authored one of my favorite books for health professionals: How to Break Bad News. Admittedly, the star of this skit is really Michael Palin, though the late Mr. Jones does an admirable job miming.
A sad day indeed.
The most outrageous Terry Jones Sketch - Gluttony
Impeccable logic (well not really)
