@GCAdmin1 , I concur with this. Slow again this morning at 8AM MST. Everything is slow. It takes up to 5 seconds if you "like" a post at times. It's a site speed issue on your end that needs to be taken care of yesterday. Pretty unacceptable for this type of issue to be unresolved for this long. We're talking close to a year of this now.

Is this site really running on shared hosting? I just assumed it was on a VPS at a minimum. And while collecting membership payments? That is crazy if so. How would the site ever handle any significant growth?

I find the site to be bogged down by a bunch of grumpy old farts arguing about things none of them actually understand.

    Can Admin attend to that?

The grumpy old farts are the ones paying for memberships and supporting this site. When the site is practically unusable at times, it's fair to discuss it. Also, admin has requested people post the issues in this thread. So how about you just don't read it if you don't like it?

I was referring to the forum as a whole, not this thread.

I'm betting that if there were no (membership) paying "grumpy old farts" there would be no GC forum.

Respectfully, one of the "grumpiest and oldest farts"

All week the sites been bad at most times. Major bandwidth issues seems like. No way it's user, location, or browser based issues at this point. It's either the host or the hardware and setup. Are you skirting around the core issue for some reason? As someone who has paid for a membership for the last 4 years, I think I (we) deserve a straight answer.

Yeah. I'm not sure why all the BS. They must realize there are a number of members, you and me included, who have worked or do work in this field currently. It gets super frustrating for the Techies.

Is anyone finding the slow downs to be more frequent? I have been running into them at all sorts of times now.

ANy news? I just "liked" a post in MS Edge to test another browser. Took almost 20 seconds to take.
