One terrific obit

    You reach a certain age, and you check the obits every day. Partly to verify you're not in them, but also because the longer you live, the more people you know, and the longer they've lived too. If it's not them, then maybe it's their parent and you need to pass on condolences. Whatever the case, it's a habit you take on.

    This morning's Ottawa Citizen had a terrific obit that the deceased had crafted themselves. It's a funny, mischievous, but good-humoured read. Sounds like the kind of guy I would have liked to have known. Worth a read.

    Sounds like a guy who never sweated the small stuff and I concur, a guy I would have liked to have known.
