I just thought that with all this free time on our hands, what a great opportunity to do some serious shopping around or put some stuff up for sale that maybe you didn't have time to do before.
Anyone else thinking along those lines?

By the way...there is obviously a captive audience out there but are you planning some creative ways to make a sale or buy something that will be sociably acceptable in this "social distancing" world we all live in?

    interested in all opinions.

I've thought about it then said naaah. Social distancing is more important. I don't want some stranger coming to my door right now. I don't do anything with Reverb or Ebay, but I'd think that the postal service is going to be a bit of a shit show right now as well.

No buying, no selling, no venturing out to meet people who believe that there is nothing going on.

My cash is best saved for when I might really need it.

I have lots of gear to offer up for sale. Not going to participate or encourage others, at any level.

I was just about to set up a Kijiji shop for the spring. I planned to unload some collectibles as well as some misc guitar related stuff, but it is too ackward and risky to buy and sell stuff right now.

Is it safe to receive stuff in the mail? I can't imagine that it would be. If cash use is being widely discouraged, then surely the mail is polluted too.

What if you buy a record or something and the seller contaminates it with Covid69 while wrapping it up. Can you get the plague from touching it?

I think we will be living like this for 3 months minimum and a Global Depression is imminent. By the end of April anybody who can be infected will be. Today is as good as it's going to get. Two weeks from now, local illnesses will probably be common and undeniable. Toronto is going to get it bad.

Aside from arts and crafts and guitars, it's hard to take advantage of potential downtime because of restrictions.

I think it is a dangerous time to be spending money, and will be impossible to sell stuff in order to gain a little extra money.

We haven't seen anything yet. A lot of people are going to die. In the city it is gonna be ugly and circumstantial crimes are gonna be happening often. This could last 18 months or more. Maybe it will trigger a war with ICBMs who knows. I don't think E-commerce is a great idea whether buying or selling.

Nope. I have a bunch of guitars and time to cycle through.

If i spent 10m on each of the thousands of IRs in the axe fx, I could take out 2 weeks easy.

You want to be careful what you handle, news reports are saying that Princess cruise ship had the Coronavirus on surfaces 17 days later.

I think the way we do things will change forever , no shaking hands , being careful when you collect your mail, and washing your vegetables a little longer...it’s a new world...

Yep, no desire for buying or selling at this point... Time to do some maintenance and mods on my gear in the house that I've been putting off, since I expect I won't be gigging for quite a while...

I had been considering selling a few things- some vintage stuff, some not vintage. The current situation definitely complicates things so I'm weighing the options right now.

Dionysus, Hermes and Aphrodite must all have been smiling on me. I just finished a 4 month long purge of gear a couple weeks ago and then immediately found the SG I've been looking for some time. Currently have nothing to sell or looking to buy other than maybe one of those fantastic pedals from Arcane.
