And his hall of fame vote is next month, sad. RIP
That's quite a shock. I don't really follow basketball, but even someone like me knows the sport has taken a huge hit. I couldn't tell you which team he played for, but he had enough star power and earned notoriety you simply assumed that whichever team he played for was a serious contender. It's like Mickey Mantle or Gordie Howe or Bart Starr dying in a crash.
I feel bad for his kids, 4 young girls lost their daddy!
What a terrible, tragic circumstance. There are no words right now. RIP Mamba.
Confirmed now his 13 year old daughter Gianna was on board. RIP.
Wow, well I’m not a basketball fan at all, but everybody knows who Kobe was.
I hope that the others, including the two children don't get forgotten because of Kobe's notoriety.
Sad day. RIP!
Sorry for his family, friends and fans. Way too young for such an end.
Written by Kobe.
Unsuccessful at posting his Academy Award winning short "Dear Basketball" . Maybe someone else will be more successful than I.
I didn't know or remember, he was the youngest to do many things in the NBA. That he wasn't drafted by LA, but chosen by them for the other team to pick with a pick they were essentially trading for, at 13th overall that year, first time a high school guard had been taken in the first round. Has the 2nd highest all time single game, 81 pts. And on and on.
Seven victims identified including a husband, wife and daughter. It is so tragic for the loved ones left behind.
