So very, very sad. Much too young.

The message in their song entitled "Fast as I Can" about living life to the fullest shines through, even as it chronicles Pagliaro’s frequent hospital visits for cancer treatment....

    “I got a date with the reaper/
The devil wants my heart in his hands/
I’m gonna give him a few more reasons/
Start living just as fast as I can”

Way too young, way too tragic, way too unfair. I really feel for families at times like these, having lived through a few episodes of loss myself. It's a hurt I wouldn't wish on anyone.

    I fucking hate cancer.

(My neighbour was not expected to last the night, last night, but I haven't heard yet this morning if he's gone. Fucking cancer is everywhere.)

I didn't know of the band until this post, when I saw "Pagliaro" I immediately assume Michel. Love the song posted above, a very talented young lady. Another tragic loss to cancer, perhaps we could spend a little less money on defence and a bit more on fighting this shit disease.

    RIP
