    If I sifted through my record collection, and counted the number of tunes that Blaine drummed on (along with Larry Knechtel on keyboards, Tommy Tedesco on guitar and Carol Kaye on bass), I would lose count very quickly.

    Would that we all could leave a legacy even 1/10 of what folks like that leave behind.

    It is inevitable that we will lose these wonderful musicians due to age alone.
    The reality of the finality still hurts.
