You need to clarify a bit. The header and your post seem to provide two different scenarios.

When the flash back was off the hum went through and when on it was gone. I ended opening it up and turning the buffer on and the noise is gone. I don’t know why but it now works with minimal noise both on and off.

    I've had a buzz before. You're saying it's a bad thing? B#(*

    (Sorry, couldn't resist)

Btw, glad you got the problem fixed.

Are you happy with the Flashback 4, now that your buzz is gone?

There’s always a disappointment when the buzz is gone. Lol

no actually it’s more consistent. Much prefer.

I just bought an original flashback and the 4 intrigues me?

The older I get the more I realize the buzz always gone over time!

I have all three. The 4 is good for flipping beteeen flavors and being able to save your spots

As I get older, I don't seem to notice hum and buzz as much. I think the tinnitus is masking it nicely. Or maybe it's just that I use less gain.

I don’t let it get to me but I was recording and with nothing else going on it was bothering my afternoon vacation.
