A vaccine could be days away and this crisis will be over.
I dont think there is any business whose lively hood depends on selling a guitar or two at the one day Elmira Vintage Guitar Show.
As for the organizers losing money, its called "the cost of doing business". Everyone in business deals with this every day of the year all the time.
I really don't know what your experiences have been with other events but I was expressing my opinion on the Elmira Show.
So the Elmira show doesn't have staff, operating costs, a promotional budget, venue expenses etc etc? You are seriously underestimating what is involved in ANY yearly event and the tight budgets organizers work with. Or the hit they will take.
This scenario is not a typical issue or business as usual on any level. But you clearly don't want to even consider that side of things, so there's nothing I am going to say that will make you consider that. The fact that you think my comments relates to primarily the vendors shows you are completely missing the point I am trying to make anyway.
my limited understanding of this is that we're closer to 18 months away from a vaccine
I reserve the right to change my comment on the latest information. Plus, don't be a buzz kill.
This years show has been canceled. See you in 2021!
