Bridge Materials

    Thoughts on a Wenge bridge? Don't really see any around, and i'm curious as to why. They look absolutely amazing.

    It looks nice, of course. Not every mfr. makes bridges to just look good. Bridges can and do have a lot to do with how a guitar sounds. One of the best designs I know of from my limited experience is the Alvarez design. On the other hand, many try to copy the Martin style bridge for obvious reasons.

    I'm actually working on one right now that has the same dropped down design for the pins as Alverez. Don't like Martin's design.

    If I ever need a bridge for my acoustics, I now know who to call.

    I like something different sometimes so even though most of my acoustics have ebony or rosewood bridges, one has snakewood.
    Your bridges look great. Go for it.
