Does anyone know if this is an Atilla Balogh bass?

It is not like most of his basses I've seen. It does look like a high quality bass. Even if is not a Balogh I am considering buying it. It is an hour and half drive to look at it so I'd like to hear what other's think before I drive there.

The Bart pups are worth half the bass' value.
Looks like a nice bass for the price.
Google doesn't help much with whether that's an Atilla bass or not.

Odessey was Attila Balough's (sp?) main line of guitars. The Attila guitars were the 'economy' line.

Looking at the ad again it says manufactured in China 1997 so not an Atilla Balogh. Still might be worth the drive to take a look at it.

That is not an Attila Bass. This reminds me of the basses that came from China quite a while ago branded as Alembic
