This super strat has an amazing neck; it is like a strat rather than the flat and wide neck Ibanez uses today. This is a well made instrument using high quality parts and materials.

All original except for the replacement Ibanez whammy bar. The bridge pickup rocks and the single coils rival the Lollar pickups in my USA Strat. I was surprised to say the least.

$375 plus shipping. I’m loosing money on this but I have my eye on something else (amp) and need to raise some cash.

I've been asked about the specs etc so here is a breakdown. The RS440 was only made for two years (84/85). The 440 was part of the "deluxe" series which featured better hardware and finishes in comparison to the standard series. The trem system, for example, is the same one that came on the Steve Lukather signature model.

Ok, I though was sold (twice!). Who wants a vintage guitar of incredible value? These are the last of the 'vintage' Ibanez guitars to take off in price, but the word is getting out. It was made in the renowned FujiGen guitar factory in Japan.
