Hey everyone! am posting this in hopes whoever took this will grow a conscience and return it.

Yesterday morning, someone broke into the Music Academy here in Brantford and took my friends 1992 Gibson Nighthawk. On top of the dollar value, this guitar has sentimental value.

We want it back. It's bad enough that there will be costs to repair damage, but replacing this guitar is something that really can't be done. Whoever took it - here's you chance to be a bit less of a scumbag.

Please, share and cross post this. Anyone with any information, please contact the Brantford Police or the The Music Academy at brantfordmusicacademy@gmail.com or 519-771-1270.

I doubt that someone who goes to the effort of breaking into someplace will suddenly get a conscience, but I hope your friend gets a break and the thieving scumbag gets caught. There's been some good luck stories out there lately due to the use of social media, lets hope this is one of those times

I trust the instrument was returned to the rightful owner then? Did the thief get nabbed?
I've yet to hear back. Last I heard they were contacting the seller to arrange meeting up to "purchase" the amp. They are very certain it is the guitar in question. It's an uncommon colored MIJ Fender Strat from the early 80s. And only located an hour or two from where it was stolen

Keep in mind that the person who has it might be completely innocent. They could have bought it or traded for it not knowing that it was stolen. If that is the case then this person, who is completely innocent of any wrongdoing, could be getting screwed over.
