I'm really picky when it comes to neck profile and fretboard radius. Both of my guitars have a similar neck profile, the Gibson '60s slim taper. But there are small differences. I find that I can play faster on my LP Standard but I'm not really sure why.

Might it be the angle the guitar sits at when you stand?

I've liked the chunky Gibson necks like on my SG Robot and '79 The Paul II for quite a while, but recently built a couple of partscasters, one a Strat, the other a Tele with soft V necks. The Strat has an Allparts neck and the Tele a Mighty Mite and I prefer the Mighty Mite V neck over anything else at the moment.
